This Privacy Policy governs your use of our Services (as detailed below). We provide our users with choices regarding the data we collect, use, and disclose, as outlined in this Privacy Policy, Cookie Policy, Settings, and Help Center.
We operate as a professional network and online platform dedicated to professionals. Our Services are utilized to discover upcoming scientific events, access publications, and facilitate connections and information. Our privacy policy applies to all Members and Visitors to our Services.
Our registered users (“Members”) disclose their professional identities, engage with their network, exchange knowledge and professional insights, share and access relevant content, and pursue educational, business, and career opportunities.
You can access ISRR medical & scientific events (International Conference, CME Programs, Workshops, Short Term Training Programmes, Faculty Development Programmes), publications, opportunities to connect with ISRR members, journals and proceedings published by ISRR, and other services explicitly offered under this agreement (“Services”). These Services also encompass the off-site collection of data related to them, such as through our ads and the “Login” and “Join Us” plugins.
Users who have registered for our Services are designated as “Members,” while those who have not registered are considered “Visitors.” This agreement governs the use of our Services by both Members and Visitors.
You have control over the information displayed on your profile, including details such as your education, work experience, skills, specialization, awards, patents, photo, location, and endorsements. Some Members may opt to create a separate ProFinder profile. You are not required to enter further information on your profile; nevertheless, profile information allows you to benefit more from our Services, enhancing your profile visibility for recruiters and business opportunities. The decision to include sensitive information and whether to make it public rests entirely with you. We advise not to upload personal data on your profile that you wish to keep confidential.
We may collect data about you when you utilize certain services offered by us or our affiliates. For instance, you might opt to share information about your contacts from Microsoft applications and services, such as Outlook, to enhance professional networking features within our Services.
When you communicate through our Services, we collect information related to those interactions. For example, if you receive a connection request via ISRR, we monitor your response and may send reminders accordingly. Additionally, we also use automatic scanning technology on messages.
We obtain data when you visit websites that incorporate our plugins, advertisements, or cookies, or when you log in to third-party services using your ISRR account.
This includes information about your visits and interactions with such services, especially those featuring ISRR plugins (e.g., “Join us on ISRR” or “Apply with ISRR”), ads, cookies, or similar technologies.
Our Services are constantly evolving, which may require the collection of new categories of data and the adoption of new data usage practices. If we collect substantially different personal information or make significant changes to how we handle your data, we will notify you and update this Privacy Policy accordingly.
We utilize your data to deliver, support, personalize, and enhance our Services.
The manner in which we process your personal data depends on the specific Services you use, your usage patterns, and the preferences you set. We apply the data we collect, often with the assistance of automated systems and inferred insights, to tailor our Services (including advertisements), ensuring they are more relevant and valuable to you and other users.
Our Services enable you to connect with others, discover and be discovered for professional and business opportunities, stay updated, receive training, and enhance your productivity.
We use your data to authenticate and authorize your access to our Services.
Stay Connected.
We may contact you via email, mobile phone, WhatsApp, Facebook, LinkedIn, notices posted on our websites or applications, messages sent to your ISRR Membership dashboard inbox, as well as through other communication channels within our Services, including text messages and push or pop-up notifications. These communications may include information regarding the availability of our Services, security updates, and other service-related matters. Additionally, we may send messages about how to use the Services, network updates, reminders, job recommendations, and promotional content from us and our partners. You may modify your communication preferences at any time; however, please note that service-related communications, including those concerning security and legal notices, are mandatory and cannot be declined or unsubscribed.
ISRR Members have access to upcoming conferences and a wide range of journals across various disciplines. Members can also utilize the digital library, which includes e-materials, past conference proceedings, published research articles, and a gallery. Members are able to upload and update their CVs through the platform. Research articles can be submitted for conferences by selecting the relevant event via the membership dashboard, and papers can be submitted for publication by choosing the appropriate journal through the same interface.
Additionally, members may address their inquiries directly with our Scientific Relations Officer via chat. The dashboard also facilitates the submission of collaboration proposals with ISRR for conferences, publications, and other initiatives.
